Hi, I’m Mary.
Mother of three dynamic young ladies (ages 12-17), wife, rancher, maker. I am able to carve out a little time in this busy season of my life for shaping and forging silver and other metals into something new. A lifetime ago I started learning about silversmithing and just kind of jumped back in about 5 years ago. I am grateful to have the opportunity to show my girls that at any point in your life, you can build something new. Through hard work, dedication, a lot of trial and error and yes, more failures than wins some days, that if you can dream it and work hard, you can do it.
I’ve done a lot of things, for a lot of different people, in a lot of different places in my lifetime but this - this is for me. This is my opportunity to spend time creating and crafting beautiful one of a kind pieces to wear and cherish. I pour my heart and soul into each creation, never really knowing exactly where a wild idea might take me, but I’m always learning and love the time I get to carve out while I am bending and forging metal in my shop.
It’s my hope that something I have made will be a piece that’s cherished by someone else. Loved hard and worn well and passed down like my jewelry will be to my girls.
We have a little vacation rental house that sits right on the ranch in picturesque Salmon, Idaho and it is available for rent and I offer “curated stays” as well as just a place to hang your hat. Please feel free to message me here if you are interested. We’d love to have you visit!
